To call this a testimonial letter is an understatement. This is more a letter of recommendation for anyone wanting to build their home. I can't imagine not building our house with AHP. If we had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Our process from the very beginning was simple, pain free and fun!
Having never built a house before, we weren't quite sure what to expect but my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we stepped inside the doors at the showroom in Central Park, we felt welcome. Our salesperson Meredith took her time with us, she got to know us and what we really wanted. She took a few hours that first meeting to put together figures, find out what we wanted and give out tons of great advice. She was never pushy or negative. That first meeting is what sealed the deal; we didn't want to go anywhere else. Throughout the process we became so knowledgeable in things that go into building a house. Whenever we had a question or concern, the answer was always explained to us in words we understood, and always right away. There were even times Jon contacted us on the weekends, his days off, just to make sure we understood and that we weren't having any issues.
Our entire building process from picking out our colors, to our preconstruction meeting to the actual building was simple and fun. We were always informed of everything that was going on and we never felt out of the loop. Whenever we had a concern or a thought, we'd call Jon Kelley and he'd talk to us about it and help us figure it out. He was always respectful of our decisions and never pushed. He would give his advice and his thoughts, and we would listen, he was so knowledgeable. There were quite a few times Jon got right in there with the construction workers and fixed something we noticed, or made sure everything was right.
As I've said repeatedly in this letter, our experience with AHP was simple, pain free and fun. Most people wouldn't use the word fun when describing a house building experience, but I can't find a better word. AHP makes a wonderful product and has amazing employees. Every time someone near us asks who built our house we proudly say AHP and offer the number out. I believe building with AHP is what has really made our HOUSE a HOME.
